Rozah helps practices organize information submitted by professionals. Every practice must independently verify credentials and determine whether a professional may lawfully perform the work before hiring, contracting, supervising, or allowing services to begin.
Practices: verification is your responsibility
Never rely solely on a Rozah profile, review label, badge, uploaded document, résumé, or statement from a professional. A Rozah review is informational and is not clearance to hire, employ, contract with, supervise, or permit someone to perform a treatment or procedure.
What Rozah review labels mean
Submitted
The professional submitted credential information or a document. Rozah has not completed a review.
In review
The submitted information is being reviewed. No conclusion should be drawn from this status.
License reviewed
Rozah reviewed submitted license information using its documented process on the displayed date. This is a point-in-time status, not ongoing monitoring or a guarantee of current standing.
What every practice should independently check
Before work begins—and again whenever required by law, policy, expiration, or a change in role—the practice should complete and document its own due diligence. Depending on the role and location, that may include:
- Verify the license directly with the applicable state licensing board or other authoritative primary source.
- Confirm the license belongs to the person, is active and unexpired, and is valid in every state where services will be performed.
- Review restrictions, conditions, disciplinary history, suspensions, exclusions, and any pending issues available through official sources.
- Determine the professional’s lawful scope of practice for each treatment, procedure, device, medication, and delegated duty.
- Confirm required education, training, certifications, competency, supervision, prescribing or delegation authority, and facility protocols.
- Verify professional liability coverage and any other insurance required for the role.
- Complete all required background, exclusion, reference, employment, classification, and workplace-compliance checks.
Rules vary by profession and location
Titles, license requirements, permitted services, delegation, supervision, and ownership rules can differ by state and may change. Practices should use current official sources and qualified legal, clinical, credentialing, or compliance professionals when needed. Rozah does not provide legal, clinical, credentialing, or employment advice.
Professional responsibility
Professionals must keep their profile and credential information accurate and current, disclose restrictions or changes promptly, and work only within their current license, training, competence, and lawful authority. This responsibility does not reduce the practice’s independent duty to verify.
Document privacy
Résumés and credential documents are stored privately. Search displays only allowed profile fields and review summaries. Restricted documents require authorization and time-limited access.
