Understand the information professionals share, what file safety checks mean, and what practices must verify before work begins.

Verify qualifications before work begins

Never rely solely on a Rozah profile, review label, badge, uploaded document, résumé, or statement from a professional. Profile information and any recorded status are informational and are not clearance to hire, employ, contract with, supervise, or permit someone to perform a treatment or procedure.

Understanding credential information

Credential information is self-reported by professionals. Rozah does not independently verify professional licenses. Practices must check credentials directly with the applicable licensing board or other authoritative source.

Self-reported information

License details, training and other qualifications are provided by the professional. Adding them to a profile does not make them verified.

Uploaded documents

Uploading or downloading a document does not verify its authenticity, the professional’s identity, or the license’s current standing.

File safety checks

Malware scanning checks files for harmful content. A clean scan does not verify a license, credential, résumé or qualification.

Any saved review status describes a recorded outcome. It is not current licensing-board verification, ongoing monitoring, or a guarantee that a professional is qualified or authorized to perform a service. Check each credential and its current standing independently before work begins.

What practices should check

Before work begins, and again when required by law, policy, expiration or a change in role—the practice should complete and document its own due diligence. Depending on the role and location, that may include:

Verify the license directly with the applicable state licensing board or other authoritative primary source.
Confirm the license belongs to the person, is active and unexpired, and is valid in every state where services will be performed.
Review restrictions, conditions, disciplinary history, suspensions, exclusions, and any pending issues available through official sources.
Determine the professional’s lawful scope of practice for each treatment, procedure, device, medication, and delegated duty.
Confirm required education, training, certifications, competency, supervision, prescribing or delegation authority, and facility protocols.
Verify professional liability coverage and any other insurance required for the role.
Complete all required background, exclusion, reference, employment, classification, and workplace-compliance checks.

Rules vary by profession and location

Titles, license requirements, permitted services, delegation, supervision, and ownership rules can differ by state and may change. Practices should use current official sources and qualified legal, clinical, credentialing, or compliance professionals when needed. Rozah does not provide legal, clinical, credentialing, or employment advice.

Professional responsibility

Professionals must keep their profile and credential information accurate and current, disclose restrictions or changes promptly, and work only within their current license, training, competence, and lawful authority. This responsibility does not reduce the practice’s independent duty to verify.

Document privacy

Résumés and credential documents are stored privately. Search displays only allowed profile fields and review summaries. Restricted documents require authorization and time-limited access.
